A couple of weeks ago, Brent decided to ask me out on a date for Friday night. Needless to say...since Kennedy has been born...its been awhile since we have done something with just the two of us. So, when I heard the plan I was pretty excited. Brent arranged the babysitters and told me that a few friends were getting together to go ice skating. It was kind of hard leaving Kennedy with our first non-family babysitters, but we were the only ones who were worried. She didn't mind at all going to bed without us. Where's the love??? It had been awhile since either of us had been ice skating (as you can tell from the pics) and we decided that when we had the money we would invest in some nice skates. Rentals kill your ankles!!! We ended up having a lot of fun and we look forward to our next little date night.

lucky bum! We haven't been on a date in forever. I'm glad you guys got to get out and have fun.
FUN!!! That's wonderful that you guys went on a date because that is such an essential part of marriage. Good job Brent for planning and suprising your wifey!
