Ready To Play!!!

On the last day we were in Utah, Kennedy woke up a little TOO READY to play. I guessed she sensed that she had limited time to play with grandma's toys, so with the shopping cart in reach....well the picture tells the rest!!! As you could tell by her face, she was a little mad that I rained on her parade :)

Kennedy - 14 month old pics

I waited a little long to get Kennedy's 1 year pics taken, but it was worth the wait because one of my best friends from Utah, Annie, took her pics while we were there and she did such an AMAZING job. I love so many things about the pictures; she captured so many different facial expressions, I love the "aged look" she processed some of them in, and I like all the different outdoor backgrounds instead of an indoor studio. How lucky am I to have such an awesome friend. Thanks Annie!!! I miss ya! *Warning* There's quite a lot of pictures... it was just too hard to choose!!

Biker Chick

While Kennedy and I were out of town, Brent kept telling me that he had a surprise for us when we got home. When we pulled in the driveway from a long day of traveling, he was out working on our surprise - A NEW BIKE SEAT!!! I have been dying to get back on the trail, but since I was pregnant last summer and this summer we don't have a place for Kennedy, it hasn't really happened until this week. On Monday, Brent had the day off of school (which he fully needed after 3 long days of testing) so we headed out on the trail and then to the park. Kennedy seemed unsure of what was going on the first time out on the bikes, but we have gone out riding since and she has loved it. With this girl though....she LOVES anything outside.

Dress-Ups

Kennedy and I flew out of Chicago and stopped at Scott and Amy's along the way. They were nice enough to put up with us and even take us to the airport. Thanks so much guys!!! For the past year I have been collecting dress up clothes for Kennedy when she gets older. I knew that Bristol loved dressing up and even though Kennedy doesn't know what she is doing, I still thought it would be fun for them to play dress-ups together and to get some cute pics. I'm sure she will appreciate them soon enough!!!
