Just some random pics of Kennedys first haircut (can you believe it at 2 months old - she was getting quite the mullet), naptime & storytime with daddy, Kennedy flaunting her first money (thanks gram), and a picture of just the biggest cheeks ever!!!
On the way back from Utah, we stopped in Chicago for a day before Brent had to get back to school. We did the whole downtown thing and hung out mainly in Grant Park, but our downtown experience wasn't complete because we didn't make it to Giordano's. YUM!! Next time for sure!
While we were in Utah we decided to have one of my best friends, Annie, take Kennedy's pictures. She is just getting into photography and as you can see by the pictures, she is going into the right field. She did an amazing job and captured some cute moments. We love them!!!
The first bath we gave Kennedy, she hated it so much she started crying uncontrollably. It was the first time I had heard her cry so hard and it started making me cry too. It was quite the traumatic experience for everyone!! These pictures are of her second bath. Luckily, she enjoyed this one much better.
The next day, we headed to the only tourist attraction in Iowa - The Field of Dreams. It was pretty fun and turned out to be a big hit, especially with my dad. He still can't stop talking about it! I did come away with a magnet that has my favorite quote on it, "Is this heaven? No...Its Iowa"
After Nauvoo, we headed to Davenport so the fam could see our place & Kennedy's blessing was the next day. Before Kennedy was born my mom and I made her a blessing dress. I am sure glad we did it before and not after (like I was planning). I was quite the naive first time mother. She looked adorable and Brent did a great job!
