Bows, Bows, and More Bows

Last week a friend of mine asked me to show her how to make bows and it got me going on a little hair bow making frenzy.  I really haven't liked making bows before, but this time I started making them to match some of Kennedy's outfits and I loved it.   I then decided that I have way too many bows and no place to really put them.  So I looked online and found a cute idea of how to store them.  Gotta love the internet!!!

Lincoln Park Zoo - Chicago

Brent left straight from taking boards and made it just in time to pick Kennedy and I up from the airport.  The plane ride home was a little better than the first, but I am still vowing that it will be my last lap ride with her.  We hung out with Scott and Amy that night and then the next day went to the Lincoln Park Zoo in downtown Chicago.  We took Bristol along so Kennedy would have a buddy to be with.  They love each other so much.  Aren't the pictures of them hugging so cute?  Adorable!!!  After the zoo we went to the park and rode bikes around their sweet neighborhood. And then...it's back to Iowa we go for 3 more months of our midwest adventure!!!

She gets scared of a toy that moves, but a bear 5 times her size.  No problem!!!
Check out this super cool playground they had at the zoo!!!

ADORABLE!!!

Children's Museum

Beware: Picture Overload & A Mom A Little Camera Happy.  We went to a SUPER cool children's museum at Gateway in downtown Salt Lake.  It was Kennedy's personal heaven!!!  We could have really spent all day there and she wouldn't have been bored.  There was so much to do and such fun, original toys.  I can't wait to take Brent with us this summer.

Super Cool!!!  Kennedy LOVES any kind of ball and we had to pry her away from this place.

Despite what daddy thinks, I know she's a jeepin' girl!!!

A little Birdie told me...I promise.

A full size helicopter was on the roof for the kids to play in.

Craft time - making Butterflies with our hands.

St. George Trip

I was really EXCITED when I heard that my family was making a trip down to St. George while we were going to be there. I was just really excited to check things out now that the decision has been made for us to live there. Kennedy and I were both in love with the weather and Kennedy had a ton of fun playing outside. She had her first experience playing in the sand and daddy would have been proud with how dirty she got!!! While there, one of the days was full of kids basketball games. This is where Kennedy got her obsession with basketballs. She now says the full word and yells it anytime she sees any kind of ball. Grandpa Jim will be proud if we have a basketball player on our hands. WE CAN'T WAIT TO GET DOWN THERE!!! Only 7 more months!!!

Jenna, McCord, and Kennedy

Kennedy is able to do the slide all by herself now.  Its a whole new world at the park now!!!

We really should invest in one of these.  Kennedy LOVED it!
Kennedy's 1st love - dogs.  She LOVED, LOVED, LOVED seeing Che, but wasn't so sure about him licking her fingers.  I hear ya!

Grandma Noorda with Kennedy.  Grandma quickly became a favorite of Kennedy's when Kennedy realized she could work chocolate chips out of her.
